About Us

Since launching in 2022, Peebls has delivered more than 32,500 staffing hours to businesses in Copenhagen’s hospitality, events, and restaurant sectors.We provide a simple and efficient solution that connects employers with reliable temporary staff – without the hassle of time-consuming processes.

Candidates can sign up quickly via our app, after which our team conducts thorough screening and onboarding to ensure that only active and qualified professionals are available on the platform.Each business is assigned a Staff Concierge – a personal consultant who manages recruitment and communication with the staff.

This hands-on approach allows HR and operations managers to focus on their core tasks, while Peebls ensures all expectations for service, quality, and compliance are met.

How it Works

Workers create a profile on Peebls.com where they list their skills, experience, and job preferences. Peebls reviews and verifies all information. Once approved, the profile becomes active on the platform.

Client businesses contact Peebls when they need staff. Together, we define the wage, work location, hours, duration, and job requirements. A job post is then published in the app, and relevant workers receive a notification and can apply with one click.

Peebls approves the most suitable candidate and handles all communication until the shift begins. The app then manages everything administratively – from reminders and check-in/out to timesheet registration and payroll.

General Terms and Conditions

By creating a profile or entering into a collaboration with Peebls (CVR 37663182), the user – whether worker or employer – accepts these terms and conditions. All users agree to comply with applicable laws, collective agreements, and internal policies related to employment.

Peebls reserves the right to modify the website, app, and these terms. Major changes will be announced in advance.If the terms are not accepted, the Peebls service cannot be used.

Requirements for Workers

To create a profile as a worker, the following requirements must be met:   

1. Be at least 18 years old
2. Hold a valid Danish tax card
3. Hold a health insurance card
4. Have a Danish CPR number
5. Have valid photo ID (e.g., passport or driver’s license)
6. Hold a valid work permit (if outside the EU)
7. Complete and pass the Peebls screening process

Employment Terms

Workers are employed by Peebls as hourly-paid temps and should not be considered full-time employees. They are not employed by the client company – however, the client’s business and workplace insurance covers the worker during the assignment.

Employment applies only for the duration of the job.

Jobs Abroad

Workers are not allowed to accept jobs abroad via Peebls, as this may incur additional social security costs. The agreement is automatically terminated upon violation, and any costs incurred by Peebls must be reimbursed.

Ensuring Fair Working Conditions (for Client Businesses)

Peebls operates by the principle of People First. Client companies must comply with the Danish Temporary Agency Work Act §3 and ensure that workers receive the same conditions as the company’s regular staff in similar positions – including work hours, pay, vacation, breaks, etc.

Peebls must be informed of all applicable agreements and changes.

Breaks

Client companies must ensure reasonable break times. In the absence of a collective agreement, Danish labor law applies – workers must be given a break and meal after six hours of work.

Breaks are considered unpaid unless otherwise agreed.

Time Registration & Payroll

Workers register their hours via the app’s check-in/check-out function. Peebls approves the hours and will contact the worker or client if clarification is needed. Approved hours form the basis for:

Payroll (including holiday pay, ATP, etc.)
Payroll period: 16th to 15th of each month
Payment date: Last business day of the month

Hourly Wages

Peebls sets hourly wages based on the client company’s applicable collective agreement, local practice, or internal standards. The wage must reflect what is normally paid for comparable roles within the company.

If the client company provides pay, bonuses, or terms that do not align with the applicable agreement, Peebls may adjust the wage at its own discretion – including retroactively.

Holiday Pay

Workers accrue paid holiday, which is deposited into Feriekonto (the official Danish holiday fund).

Try and hire

Client companies can permanently hire a worker:

Free of charge after 480 hours worked via Peebls
For a fee equal to one month’s salary if hired before 480 hours

Requests must be sent to: operations@peebls.com
This agreement is valid for 12 months from the worker’s most recent shift.

Sickness

Sickness must be reported as soon as possible to the Peebls Support Team at +45 51 96 96 70, so a replacement can be arranged.

Shift Cancellation

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the shift start time.
Send all cancellations to operations@peebls.com. A cancellation is only valid once confirmed by Peebls.

Peebls reserves the right to suspend users in the following cases:

Absence without valid reason
Repeated negative feedback
Non-payment despite reminders
Breach of labor law or workplace regulations
Suspected competition with Peebls
